Cincinnati Museum Center hosts celebration of Black empowerment in honor of MLK weekend
Saturday, January 17

WHAT: Cincinnati Museum Center is celebrating the legacy of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and Black empowerment with a day of programming Saturday, January 17. The daylong celebration will highlight the history, present and future of Black excellence through art, performances, informational booths, vendors and speakers. The day will showcase businesses, nonprofits, artists, freedom fighters and community leaders as they share their authentic stories.

Cincinnati Museum Center is notably hosting their celebration of MLK Day on Saturday to encourage guests to participate in the MLK Coalition March and to visit the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center on MLK Day itself, Monday, January 19.

Cincinnati Museum Center will release the full Celebrate Black Empowerment Day schedule in early January.
