Findlay Market and the Office of the Vice Mayor to Unveil ‘Jim Scott Way’
Honorary Street Naming of Findlay Market Parade Spokesperson Unveiled before Opening Day

Cincinnati (March, 2025) – The Corporation for Findlay Market (CFFM) is thrilled to invite the media and the public to the official unveiling of ‘Jim Scott Way’ on Tuesday, March 25 at 3 P.M.

The honorary street name has been supported by the Office of the Vice Mayor, in partnership with CFFM and the Findlay Market Parade Committee. 

The honorary street, ‘Jim Scott Way’, will be located at the corner of Race Street and Liberty Street near Findlay Market. This intersection was selected as it is the starting point for the Findlay Market Opening Day Parade each year. Jim Scott, who passed away from ALS last year, was the 2024 Honorary Grand Marshal of the parade and served as the Findlay Market Parade Spokesperson for several years. He proudly marched in the parade for more than 50 years. 

Speakers at the event will include Vice Mayor Jan-Michele Lemon Kearney and members of the Findlay Market Opening Day Parade Committee. Jim’s wife, Donna Hartman, will be in attendance as part of the dedication and celebration.
