3CDC - Fountain District Update
Source
The Fountain District is getting a glow-up two years in the making! BLINK, the nation's largest public light and art event, is illuminating the Queen City from October 17–20, and the Fountain District's vibrant streets, businesses, and civic spaces are at the heart of the unforgettable experience.
More than a local event, BLINK connects us all, attracting over 2 million visitors and artists from around the world. It’s not just about the lights—it’s about the connection, the conversation, and the vision of what our city can be.
The Fountain District is centered in the festival's Downtown Zone and will be home to some of the most anticipated art installations, including OPEN at Fountain Square, featuring an array of interactive structures and animated canvases expressing a narrative of doorways opened, pathways followed, and destinations reached, and memorizing projections like Good Luck & Godspeed honoring Neil Armstrong's impact on Cincinnati. When you need a moment to recharge, the Aronoff Center will serve as a technicolor Fountain District Oasis with public restrooms, concessions, fun crafts for the kids, and an Instagram-worthy neon display.
Make room for wonder this weekend, and every weekend after, in the Fountain District!
