Jennifer Patritti Cram, Ph.D., received the Hispanic Chamber Cincinnati Foundation scholarship in the fall of 2019, which she utilized to enhance her professional development. As a first-generation Latina, Dr. Patritti Cram pursued a Ph.D. in Neurosciences at the University of Cincinnati. Through the support of the Hispanic Chamber Cincinnati Foundation, she was able to cover the cost of the intellectual property course necessary to become a patent agent, enabling her to write and prosecute patents before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. This scholarship furthered her professional development in the field of intellectual property law.
Dr. Patritti Cram currently works at Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton, LLP law firm in Houston, Texas, where her practice encompasses a diverse range of subjects, including cancer immunotherapies, antibody-based therapeutics, cellular therapies, pharmaceuticals, immunology, virology, DNA-based drugs, sequencing (genomics SNPs, gene expression), and medical devices. Her expertise includes assisting clients in drafting and prosecuting patent applications, conducting research and analyzing prior art, performing freedom-to-operate analysis, and managing patent portfolios (both U.S. and non-U.S.).
Dr. Patritti Cram Jennifer Patritti Cram earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Neuroscience from the University of Cincinnati in 2022, having received the Graduate Dean’s Excellence Scholarship and the Albert C. Yates Fellowship. Prior to her academic endeavors, she obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Neuroscience from The Ohio State University in 2016, where she was recognized for her Honors Research Distinction and a Pelotonia Fellowship for Cancer Research.
