National Underground Railroad Freedom Center: Honor Black History Month

Social justice is not a singular topic to be covered, but a lens used to analyze the past and better understand the present. We know learning about the historical implications of race can be difficult. That’s where the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center can help.

Group outings to Freedom Center encourage colleagues to ask questions about difficult topics while engaging in meaningful conversations with each other. By approaching material with empathy and an open mind, the Freedom Center helps you navigate historic issues that continue to resonate today, and to do so with the freedom to question, rethink and build upon material.

During February and March, we will be hosting the Emmett Till & Mamie Till-Mobley Exhibit: Let the World See. This is a traveling exhibit and will only be here for a limited time, and this would also be a great way to honor Black History Month.
