2019-2020 Scholarship Recipient: Jennifer Patritti

I would like to thank the Cincinnati Hispanic Chamber of Commerce for their scholarship. I received the scholarship during fall of 2019 and used the scholarship to further my professional development. I am a first-generation Latina pursuing a PhD in Neurosciences at the University of Cincinnati looking to transition to a career in intellectual property law to serve as a bridge between scientists and law and help scientists patent their inventions. 

Without the support of Cincinnati Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, I would not have been able to pay for the intellectual property course needed to become a patent agent and be able to write and prosecute patents in front of the United States Patent and Trademark Office and further my professional development in intellectual property law. I would like to thank all those who support the scholarship.
