Cincinnati’s next food-themed event week is sure to appeal to everyone! Cincinnati Taco Week is happening now through October 17, and you don’t want to miss out on $2 taco specials from some of the most popular restaurants in Cincinnati. Each participating location will be offering a unique spin on the classic taco, including several vegetarian options. Participating Downtown Cincinnati restaurants include Arnold’s Bar & Grill, Bakersfield, Bebo’s, Café 1883, Lalo, Lucius Q, and Mazunte Centro. Enjoy “Taco Tuesday” all week long!
Visit Findlay Market this weekend and celebrate the season at the Annual Fall Festival, happening on Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Attendees can sample a variety of fall-themed treats from merchants, vendors and farmers located at the market. Tickets are 5 for $10 or 12 for $20, and can be purchased here. Each ticket is good for one sample from one business, so the more tickets you buy, the more food samples you get! While you’re there, enjoy drink specials at Jane’s Bar and live music happening throughout the weekend.
Last week, we welcomed another business to Court Street Plaza, Mid-City, a new bar and restaurant concept from Mike Stankovich, owner of Longfellow in Over-the-Rhine. The bar features a small, ever-changing menu, as well as a cocktail menu that includes drinks large enough for sharing with friends. Mid-City will be open Thursday to Saturday from 5-10 p.m., and joins other new businesses located at the plaza, including cocktail bar Pilar and restaurant Bebo’s.
Please join us for a fun shopping event happening this Saturday along the Historic West Fourth Street District. The Fall on Fourth event is a walkable shopping tour that includes nine participating merchants, all located within a one-block area. Participants will receive a shopping “passport,” which must be checked at each location and turned in at the final stop, Rebel Mettle Brewery, in order to enter to win a big prize. You must visit all locations to enter to win, and members of the Downtown Supporter Program who visit all locations will be given a bonus gift — a $25 Queen City Card. Visit West Fourth Street on Saturday from Plum Street to Central Avenue, and enjoy special deals and promotions at participating locations, happening from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.!
