Readers rejoice! Books by the Banks is back! Cincinnati’s 17th annual regional book festival is taking over the Downtown Main Library from 10AM to 4PM on Saturday. The one-day-only festival celebrates books, reading, and cultural arts and features national, regional, and local authors and illustrators, book signings, panel discussions, and activities for the entire family to enjoy! From thrillers to local interest and every genre in between, this family-friendly event has something to make a bookworm out of us all! Books by the Banks is free and open to the public.
The Sam Adams Cincinnati Taproom is turning six, and you better believe they’re partying all weekend long! Free live music sets the celebratory tone on Friday and Saturday from 11AM – 9:30PM but the real party favor is your chance to savor a pour of the brewery’s iconic Utopias beers. Utopias releases are rare and each cask challenges the perception of what beers can be. This boundary-bending, barrel-aged beer blurs the line between beer and fine spirit. At 28% ABV, it’s a heavy-hitter with a reputation that lands it on every beer drinker’s bucket list. For this weekend’s festivities only, party-goers can enjoy vintage Utopias pours, and a special Utopias flight featuring four different releases. Reserve your pour in advance online and get ready for a beer drinking experience like no other.
Hello gorgeous! The next installment of Broadway In Cincinnati's 2024-2025 season, Funny Girl, is an iconic production. The sensational Broadway revival dazzles with celebrated classic songs, including “Don’t Rain On My Parade,” “I’m the Greatest Star,” and “People.” This bittersweet comedy is the story of the indomitable Fanny Brice, a girl from the Lower East Side who dreamed of a life on the stage. Everyone told her she’d never be a star, but then something funny happened—she became one of the most beloved performers in history, shining brighter than the brightest lights of Broadway. Don't miss this love letter to musical theater! The show opens on Tuesday night for a 16-performance run at the Aronoff Center. Tickets are on sale now!
