Mount St. Joseph University to Offer Special Screening of ''At the End of the Santa Fe Trail''
A new film version depicting scenes from S. Blandina Segale’s At The End of the Santa Fe Trail has been completed by director Tomas Sanchez. The film debuted at the Santa Fe Film Festival in February. Mount St. Joseph University will host a special screening of the film to the Cincinnati public on Friday, March 24, 2023 in the Mater Dei Chapel at Mount St. Joseph University at 7 p.m. Seton Lobby doors will open at 5:30 p.m. to a display of artifacts, photo opportunities and other information about
S. Blandina. The program will start at 7 p.m. with a welcome message and prayer, along with testimony from a local woman who was blessed with a miracle through the intercession of S. Blandina. At the End of the Santa Fe Trail portrays the life of S. Blandina Segale and her faithful service in God’s name. The Sisters of Charity missioned her out West at the age of 22 to serve communities and teach the faith. She encountered many obstacles, and stayed true to her beliefs, even challenging Billy the Kid to spare a life! She is currently on the path of canonization by the Catholic Church and has attained the title ‘Servant of God’ by the Vatican.
