CINCINNATI, OH: March 5, 2022, Due to a rise in cases of COVID-19, Cincinnati Boychoir made the decision to postpone the Festival Choir rehearsals and event. Festival Day will now take place on April 30th, 12-5 pm, at Memorial Hall, with a free concert at 5:30 pm. Festival Choir rehearsals will take place in late March through April. 

Festival Choir offers a chance for young singers to enhance their musicality and make music with boys from all over the community, including current members from the Cincinnati Boychoir. All boys in grades 3-6 from across the Greater Cincinnati region are welcome to register.

Each boy will participate in two rehearsals at one of four community locations and then come together for a day of music-making at the Boychoir Festival on April 30th, which culminates in a public performance at Memorial Hall. This concert will include repertoire from a variety of composers, including Sherry Blevins and Curtis Mayfield.

Festival Day will feature musical workshops led by guest clinicians, team-building activities, rehearsals, and a performance. Each boy will receive a free t-shirt. The registration fee is $25. All boys in grades 3-6 are welcome to register using the following link:

The community rehearsals will take place on 4 Saturdays between March 26 and April 23 at four locations: the Fitton Center for the Arts in Hamilton, Fairfax Recreation Center, NKU School of the Arts in Highland Heights, KY, and St. Catharine of Siena in Westwood.
