Great Parks to Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with Hispanic Heritage Festival Sunday, Sept. 21
Save the date! Great Parks will honor the rich history, culture and contributions of the Hispanic and Latinx communities at the Hispanic Heritage Festival from 3-7 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 21, at Sharon Woods next to the recently opened 10,000 square foot destination playground near Sharon Centre. The festival celebrates National Hispanic Heritage Month, which runs from September 15 to October 15.
Each year, the Great Parks Hispanic Heritage Festival is a chance to mingle with people and businesses in the local Hispanic community over food, music and fun.
Live music from Tropicoso and dancers from Salsannati and Cincinnati Baila will entertain and encourage others to move to the music. The festival will feature varieties of authentic Hispanic cuisine from local trucks and restaurants. Cold beer, sangria and frozen margaritas will also be available for purchase.
Children can enjoy crafts, meet Gary the Lion from FC Cincinnati and strike up a game of soccer with an FC Cincinnati Ambassador at FCC’s mini pitch.
