New Resources to Connect Teens to the Facts About Drugs and Health
Throughout the years, with your help, NIDA for Teens has encouraged teens to consider the impact that drugs and alcohol have on their developing brains and to make informed decisions about substance use. These efforts are especially important as we work to support teens during these unprecedented, challenging times.
To help you continue your important work, check out these new NIDA for Teens resources:
- Start a conversation. We compiled 10 frequently asked questions from teens to help you start a conversation about drugs and health.
- Watch new videos from NIDA scientists with answers to common questions teens ask about drug use and addiction. The accompanying Teacher’s Guide offers writing prompts and tips for incorporating the videos into remote, hybrid, or in-person classroom instruction.
- Take the National Drug & Alcohol IQ Challenge. Test students’ knowledge about drugs and alcohol with this short, interactive quiz.
