How the pandemic has affected lead poisoning in kids

This month we launch our new Health Know-How campaign, a monthly 
spotlight that goes in-depth on a current health topic to help you understand and act. First up: Lead poisoning in kids. In 2020 during the pandemic, lead poisoning screenings were down as fewer children had their well-child checkups. Children also spent more time indoors at home where they might be exposed to lead in paint chips and dust. Learn more about lead poisoning.
