Newest OMNIMAX® film introduces the iconic wilderness in stunning detail
CINCINNATI – Cincinnati Museum Center’s OMNIMAX® Theater has taken viewers around the world and beyond the stars; from the vast beauty of America’s national parks to the ancient pyramids of Egypt, from the depths of the South Pacific to the surface of Mars. Now, it’s ready to bless the rains down in Africa. Serengeti: Journey to the Heart of Africa opens tomorrow in the Robert D. Lindner Family OMNIMAX® Theater. Tickets are still available for exclusive evening showings Friday night.

Join Cincinnati Museum Center on a stunning journey to the untamed wilds of Africa as you come face-to-face with the iconic animals who call it home. Incredible cinematography takes viewers inside lion prides, beneath the hooves of thundering wildebeests and just out of reach of snapping crocodile jaws for an intimate look into a sprawling world unchanged by the passage of time.
The OMNIMAX® Theater provides the perfect backdrop for the sprawling beauty of the Serengeti as storm clouds roll overhead, lush green savanna stretches out around you and towering cliffs give way to the massive caldera of volcanoes.

The film uses the advances in filmmaking technology to offer an unbelievable viewing experience that plays out beautifully across the OMNIMAX® screen.”
See one of the world’s greatest environments through the eyes of its inhabitants, including the youngest members of the animal tribes as they imitate their parents and learn about the mighty roles they’ll play. The film showcases a perfect symphony in which every species has a distinct role in a larger story – the balance of an entire ecosystem. Serengeti proves the circle of life remains timeless.
