CINCINNATI, OH - Santa Maria Community Services, Inc. is excited to announce the upcoming third annual Summer Safety Fest. This highly anticipated family event will take place on Saturday, June 24, 2023, from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Lower Price Hill Recreation Area Playground located at 2122 Hatmaker Street, Cincinnati, OH 45204.

The Summer Safety Fest aims to bring families together for an afternoon of fun, education, and community engagement. Attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy free food, music, and participate in various family-friendly activities. Santa Maria, in collaboration with its partner organizations, will also provide valuable resources for families in attendance.

H.A. Musser, Jr., President and CEO of Santa Maria Community Services, emphasized the significance of the event. "Violence and substance abuse are unfortunate challenges faced by Price Hill residents," Musser stated. "Through our third annual Summer Safety Fest, we aim to foster an ongoing conversation within our community, focusing on preventive measures to address these issues. Our goal is to empower Lower Price Hill youth to speak out against substance abuse and violence, while building positive alternatives for themselves and their community."

The Summer Safety Fest is an opportunity for community members to get connected with resources that offer support and education on safety and substance abuse prevention. By encouraging dialogue and collaboration, Santa Maria hopes that together we can create a safer and more supportive environment for all.

Santa Maria is grateful for support from AmeriHealth Caritas Ohio, The David J. Joseph Company (DJJ), the Charles H. Dater Foundation and PreventionFIRST.
