If you're excited to see the new Andrew J Brady ICON Music Center at The Banks, stop down this weekend for two opportunities to check it out. On Saturday, July 24, come see the unveiling of the Cincinnati Black Music Walk of Fame​. The new installation honors four founding inductees: Bootsy Collins, The Isley Brothers, Otis Williams, and the late Dr. Charles Fold. Doors open at 1 p.m., with the official unveiling commencing at 2 p.m. You can also attend the public open house happening on Sunday. Get a first look at the new state-of-the-art music venue and enjoy live music and concessions while you’re there. The open house runs from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., with local and regional bands performing throughout the day. Vendors will be selling Skyline Chili and Papa John's pizza, as well as beer and non-alcoholic beverages. Music & Event Management, Inc. (MEMI), will also be accepting job applications for various positions at the new venue.

Fans of Scotch whiskey will want to purchase tickets now for an upcoming event at Nicholson’s Pub. Join other Scotch enthusiasts for the Tour of Scotland Scotch & Cigar Event next Thursday, July 29 from 7-9 p.m. Guides will lead participants through a sampling of single malts from the four main scotch-producing regions in Scotland. Enjoy tastings from famous brands including Dalwhinnie, Oban and more, as well as appetizers and a complementary cigar. Tickets to the event are $45 per person.
