Empowering Price Hill: Santa Maria’s PreventionFIRST! Fall Fest Shines a Light on Substance Abuse Prevention

CINCINNATI, OH – Santa Maria Community Services, Inc. is pleased to present PreventionFIRST! Fall Fest. This fun family event will be held on Tuesday, September 26, 2023, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at its East Price Hill office, 3301 Warsaw Avenue, Cincinnati, OH 45205.

Maritza Dyer, CDCA, a Clinical Specialist and Addiction Counselor Assistant at Addiction Services Council will be representing PreventionFIRST! and leading the conversation about preventing substance abuse in Price Hill.

“Substance abuse is a major source of pain and trauma for Price Hill residents,” said H.A. Musser, Jr., President and CEO of Santa Maria Community services. “At our third annual PreventionFIRST! event we would like to continue the conversation on ways to prevent substance abuse in our community. We want to help families construct positive alternatives for themselves and for our community and have some neighborhood fun at the same time.”

Families are invited to enjoy free food and music. Vendors will include: Caracole; Cincinnati Works; Cincinnati Health Department’s Tobacco Free Living Program, City Gospel Mission’s Little Village, Hamilton County Public Health, Hamilton County Quick Response Team, SORTA/Metro, Talbert House, First Step Home and more!
