The biggest event along the Ohio River is back this year! Riverfest, featuring the Western & Southern/WEBN Fireworks show, is happening once again this Sunday, September 5. With celebrations happening at Sawyer Point and along both sides of the river, this Labor Day weekend celebration is a welcome return to longtime traditions in Cincinnati. Still making your Riverfest plans? You have plenty of options to join the festivities, from live music to exclusive dinners and more. While parties are happening all afternoon on Sunday, the official Rozzi Fireworks show starts at 9 p.m., so make sure you’re settled at your viewing location well before show time. When traveling, be aware of several bridge and street closures.
The party starts at noon on Sunday at Sawyer Point and Yeatman’s Cove, where WEBN will be broadcasting live all day. The programming includes the Just Show Up Show from 3-8:30 p.m., featuring live music by local cover bands Southern Accents, The Iron Maidens, and That Arena Rock Show. Check out the entertainment at the P&G Stage at Sawyer Point.
For rooftop dining, make a reservation at The View at Shires’ Garden on Sunday for a special Labor Day Sunday Fireworks Dinner, beginning at 5:30 p.m. For $135 per person, enjoy buffet-style appetizers, dinner, dessert, a glass of sparkling wine, and an excellent river view.
Before and after the fireworks, head over to The Righteous Room for half-price drinks from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m. Just down the street, Igby’s is also hosting a Labor Day Party on Sunday from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m., featuring plenty of dance music.
Have a fun and safe Riverfest and Labor Day Weekend!
