"Rex the Halls" at Cincinnati Museum Center
New music video drops for T. REX OMNIMAX® film
WHAT: It’s new music Friday at Cincinnati Museum Center. Just in time for the holidays, the museum released “Rex the Halls,” a new video inspired by their latest OMNIMAX® film. The video features carolers being comically terrorized by a T. rex while singing a custom version of “Deck the Halls” sprinkled with T. rex facts.
“Rex the Halls” video
“Rex the Halls” is inspired by T. REX, now showing at Cincinnati Museum Center’s OMNIMAX® Theater. The film gives prehistory’s most famous dinosaur its star turn on the only screen large enough to contain it. The film follows three young boys who stumble across a fossilized leg bone in North Dakota, sparking one of the greatest discoveries in paleontology. Working alongside a team of paleontologists, the boys discover it’s a young T. rex skeleton, which helps redefine what we know of history’s most iconic predator.
For those who want to see the T. rex thundering around on the domed OMNIMAX® screen, there are also dazzling graphics that bring the king of the dinosaurs to life, alongside triceratops and raptors. And, in a special treat for local audiences, Cincinnati Museum Center’s paleontologist and Dinosaur Hall make a cameo in the film.
T. REX is showing through the holidays at Cincinnati Museum Center.
