Santa Maria Community Services Presents PreventionFIRST! Picnic on July 22, 2022 in East Price Hill

CINCINNATI, OH – Santa Maria Community Services, Inc. is pleased to present its second annual PreventionFIRST! Picnic. This fun family event will be held on Friday, July 22, 2022, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at its East Price Hill office, 3301 Warsaw Avenue, Cincinnati, OH 45205.

Maritza Dyer, CDCA, a Clinical Specialist and Addiction Counselor Assistant at Addiction Services Council will be representing PreventionFIRST! and leading the conversation about preventing substance abuse in Price Hill.

Families are invited to enjoy free food and music. Free food will be provided by La Soupe for families to take home and a free meal will be provided by the Sabor S. Marcos Food Truck for families to eat at the event. LaMega 97.7 FM will be broadcasting live from the event. FC Cincinnati will have giveaways and a few surprises. In addition, the Ohio Department of Health will be offering free COVID-19 vaccines.

“Substance abuse is a major source of pain and trauma for Price Hill residents,” said H.A. Musser, Jr., President and CEO of Santa Maria Community services. “At our second annual PreventionFIRST! Picnic we would like to continue the conversation on ways to prevent substance abuse in our community. We want to help families construct positive alternatives for themselves and for our community.”
