The Hispanic Chamber Cincinnati Foundation Honors 10 Scholarship Recipients

CINCINNATI (October 23)—The Hispanic Chamber Cincinnati USA held the past Thursday, October 15, 2020, its 24th Annual (First) Virtual Gala - 2020 Scholarship via zoom, facebook live and premiering on YouTube. We honored 10 deserving students from colleges such as Northern Kentucky University and University of Cincinnati.

This program recognizes Hispanic students attending Colleges and Universities in the Greater Cincinnati Metropolitan Area and is supported by local businesses, organizations and individuals. The HCCF’s intent is to recognize and honor the achievements of Hispanic College Students who will be inspiring other younger Hispanic students to pursue higher education.

Our Annual Dinner Gala has become one of the most prestigious events in town, bringing together our community to celebrate the achievements of Hispanics individuals and businesses! Unfortunately, COVID-19 pandemic forced us to change our plans for this year, and hosted a "Virtual Gala."

This year we made a difference in Hispanic students' life by granting college scholarship to a group of deserving students. It was fun, one-hour event and we shared what the Hispanic Chamber Cincinnati has done last year, recognized achievements and leaders, and most importantly, we celebrated our Hispanic community.

Our guest Speaker was  Dr. O'dell Moreno Owens, President and Chief Executive Officer and he talked about the COVID19 & The Brown Population.
