Spring is fading to summer across Downtown Cincinnati, but the season isn’t going quietly – outdoor music events are setting the tone for a vibrant summer ahead! Start your weekend and the First Financial Bank Summer Series off right in Washington Park tomorrow at Friday Flow. Over-the-Rhine’s favorite, free R&B series is back on the park’s civic lawn for a 12thseason featuring national and regional acts. Dust off your lawn chairs and see Memphis-based musician, Chris J, kick off the beloved series starting at 7PM.
Add a dose of yeehaw to your Friday night at Hard Rock Casino Cincinnati’s first outdoor concert of the season featuring country music star, Nate Smith, who is known for his gritty backwoods soul, rock ‘n’ roll swagger and velvet-thunder vocals. Set all of that against the backdrop of the Queen City skyline, and you’re in outdoor venue paradise! Hard Rock’s general admission setting creates an intimate experience for music lovers and artists alike. All concert goers must be 21 or older. Music starts at 7:30PM and tickets are available online.
Omm-pah-pop over to Findlay Market and raise a stein to German American Day on Saturday from 10:30AM – 12PM! Programmed by The German-American Citizens League of Greater Cincinnati, the event will feature live music from The Klaberheads, dancing with the Donauschwaben Dancers, great food and cold beer. This celebration of German roots is free and open to the public. Prost!
Base drop into an unforgettable Saturday at the highly anticipated return of DJ Festival, Stereo ’24. This electrifying event kicks off the 2024 outdoor concert series at Sawyer Pointand the Sawyer Point outdoor roller-skating season. When not mesmerized by the turntable spins, revelers can enjoy over 35 community vendors ranging from food trucks to clothing boutiques and non-profit organizations.
