Support Findlay Market during National Farmers Market Week, happening through August 7. Enjoy free food samples, cooking demonstrations and other fun activities. The Market has also partnered with Samuel Adams in creating a special “From the Market” beer, featuring ingredients found at Findlay Market, such as tea leaves from Churchill’s Fine Teas, orange zest from ETC Produce & Provisions and Roth Produce, and cardamom from Colonel De Gourmet Herbs & Spices. This limited-edition lager will be available at the Sam Adams Taproom and Jane’s Bar at Findlay Market. Sam Adams will be donating $1 from every sale of the “From the Market” beer to the Corporation to Findlay Market to help promote food entrepreneurship and other community programs led by Findlay Market. The Cincinnati Ballet’s adult dance and fitness classes return this week, with classes designed to keep you moving, whether you’ve had years of dance experience or you’re a newbie. Choose a variety of exercise classes to fit your style, from Pilates to ballet, as well as modern and street dance. To kick off the new season, classes are free this week through August 8, so sign up before they’re all booked. Visit the pool at Ziegler Park after hours tonight for the return of the popular Adult Swim! Admission is $20, and guests must be over the age of 21. Art on Vine is back this weekend – but it’s happening at a new location! The local monthly art show returns on Sunday, August 8, but this month’s event will be hosted at the new Court Street Plaza. Find great items and meet some of your favorite local artists from noon to 6 p.m. This month will feature more than 80 artists and makers selling everything from fine art to handmade goods, and the event will take place alongside the Court Street Cruise In, which will feature unique and eclectic cars from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Seafood-lovers and foodies will want to attend a special dinner and wine event on Tuesday, August 10 at Court Street Lobster Bar. Dine on a five-course menu, featuring a different wine for each course. Tickets are $100 per person and can be purchased here.
