News from Downtown 1.06.22
Welcome to 2022, Cincinnatians! We’re so excited to begin this new year and we hope everyone had a safe and happy holiday season.
This weekend, car-lovers unite at Duke Energy Center’s annual Cavalcade of Customs. Every year, this show brings hundreds of amazing custom cars, hotrods, motorcycles and more. Show hours are Friday, from 3-9 p.m.; Saturday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.; and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. General Admission is $20 with discount tickets available at O’Reilly Auto Parts.
Every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. throughout 2022, visitors will have a chance to learn the art of spinning tunes at DJ Class with DJ Apryl Reign at Elementz Hip Hop Cultural Art Center. Members will learn about equipment and sophisticated techniques of beat-mixing. All youth and adults are welcome to participate in this program. To register, email April.
This Sunday at 10:30 a.m., join the Chabad Young Professionals at Encore Apartments for BLT—Bagels, Lox and Tefillin—and learn with young Jewish professionals from Cincinnati. Register here for the event.
Although FOUND wrapped up its second successful year, we hope it got visitors excited to continue to patronize their favorite spots Downtown, even if there aren’t holiday-themed windows, or a pocket park full of Christmas Trees.
