$2,500 Available for Bars and Restaurants HCDC would like to share important information regarding funding that is still available for bars and restaurants with an active on-premises liquor permit. Bars, restaurants, breweries and private clubs are eligible to receive $2,500 from the Ohio’s Bar and Restaurant Fund. There’s approximately 30 permit types that qualify. In total, $38.7 million in federal CARES Act has been set aside to support businesses with an active on-premises permit as of Oct. 23,
The Business Legacy Fund is actively seeking locally-owned companies to apply for the first round of funding, which will become available in 2021. Through a sophisticated combination of financing and technical assistance, the Business Legacy Fund will help Southwest Ohio’s retiring business owners preserve their legacy and ensure their retirement, by selling their business to their employees.
