Afro-Cuban Afternoon with Arturo Sandoval

Get in the groove with the Cincinnati Chamber Orchestra Brass Quintet, members of the Cincinnati Contemporary Jazz Orchestra, and 10-Time Grammy Award Winner Arturo Sandoval, as we take a peek into the world of Afro-Cuban jazz. The program is a further exposure to Cuba?s rich musical heritage made famous worldwide by musicians like Sandoval, Dizzy Gillespie, Mario Bauza, Machito, or Chico O?Farrill, and ensembles such as Orquesta Aragón, Orquesta Cubana de Música Moderna (later re-named Irakere), Los Van Van, and the Buena Vista Social Club.
