Position Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated K-12 teachers to join our bilingual summer camp program for grades K-3. This camp aims to improve students’ ESL (OELPS/OELPA) scores, focusing on reading and math skills. Teachers will create an engaging and supportive learning environment that fosters language development and academic growth.
- Lesson Planning: Develop and implement lesson plans that align with ESL standards and focus on reading and math improvement.
- Instruction: Deliver bilingual instruction in both English and the target language, ensuring comprehension and engagement.
- Assessment: Evaluate OELPS/OELPA assessments to monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
- Classroom Management: Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.

Communication: Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student progress and camp activities.
Qualification and Skill Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field.
- Teaching certification for K-12. (preferred)
- Experience in ESL instruction and bilingual education.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Passion for working with young children and fostering their academic growth.
Organizational Responsibility:

Work Environment:
Inside typical office environment, heated and air conditioned. Temperature 68 to 80 degrees F. Ambient noise, low, not requiring hearing protection. No other personal safety equipment required.

Must be able to meet the following physical requirements, with or without reasonable accommodation:
- Use hands to manipulate, handle, feel, and control items or equipment;
- Talk to other employees/clients and hear them;
- See and be able to read, write, and interpret written documents;
- Occasionally lift and move objects weighing up to 15 pounds.
