Xavier University’s College of Professional Sciences invites applications for the position of Administrative Assistant II in the Department of Social Work. The primary role of this position is to provide administrative support to the social work department. This position requires the successful candidate to be available to work on campus, full- time.
Responsibilities include:
- Maintain faculty and student files
- Onboard adjunct faculty
- Coordinate course schedules
- Appointment and event coordination
- Budget administration
- Update department websites
- Supervise student workers
- Assist in compiling accreditation documents
- Maintains CEU provider status and records with the State of Ohio Social Work licensure board
- Other departmental duties
- High School Degree Required; Bachelor’s Preferred
- 3-5 years of experience required
- Excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to working as part of a collaborative team;
- Detail-oriented and well-organized
- Ability to work independently on multiple projects
- Contribution to a campus climate that supports equity, diversity, and inclusion.
