Visiting Assistant Professor/Instructor to teach our geospatial courses.
Job Description
Applicants should have expertise in geospatial applications and techniques including (but not limited to) creating and maintaining GIS databases, interactive digital/web-based GIS, participatory and/or community-based GIS, spatial statistics/ data visualization, open source methodologies, data analytics and/or drones. This role will teach a sequence of geospatial courses from the introductory to advanced level using ESRI’s ArcPro and QGIS.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Required: Ph.D. in Geography or closely related field by date of appointment for appointment as Visiting Assistant Professor; Master’s or ABD in Geography or closely related field for appointment as Instructor.
