Assistant Golf Coach
Job Description Summary
Miami University Men’s Golf is looking for an enthusiastic and driven assistant golf coach for the 2024-2025 season to assist the head coach in the administration and operation of the men’s golf program.
Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Coaching skill set and strategy at team practices and individual sessions
- Tournament coaching and team travel assistance (vans) at select tournaments
- Assist with administrative and off-course duties including social media, alumni outreach, team building, player meetings, and other duties as assigned by the Head Coach
- Assist with Winter/Summer Camps
- Assist with individual events and travel
- Assist in the analysis of stats tracking
- Assist with select recruiting events assigned by the Head Coach
- Assisting the head coach in conducting the program in accordance with all NCAA rules, including attendance at compliance meetings, appropriate record keeping for recruiting and competition/practice seasons, and assistant in the education of student/athletes about NCAA rules
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience playing or coaching golf at the collegiate or professional level
Preferred Qualifications:
- Clear understanding of Decade Stats System
- Experience using Trackman and Foresight launch monitor technology
Additional Information
