Job Description Summary
Responsibilities are to assist program directors and student staff in various areas of the Outdoor Pursuit Center including equipment rentals, trips and workshops, climbing wall programs, and ropes course programs. May also assist with instruction of SLM courses. 

 

Job Description
Essential Duties:

  • Assists in the planning and implementation of programs and services provided by the Team Building program
  • Assists in the planning and leading of adventure trips and workshops
  • Assists in the staffing and supervision of the Climbing Wall and Youth Climbing Team programs
  • Assists with the equipment rental program operations
  • Inspects equipment/facilities and reports any unsafe conditions or maintenance needs
  • Attends all mandatory staff meetings and training sessions
  • Remains current in CPR & BBP certification 
  • Completes other duties as assigned 
     

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Current CPR and First Aid certifications or obtained within 30 days of hiring
  • Experience in Outdoor Recreation Programming
     

Preferred Qualification:

  • Experience driving a 12 passenger van with a trailer
