Job Description Summary
Assistant Professor (tenure-track; multiple positions) to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in statistics, data science and data analytics; conduct methodological and collaborative research leading to publication and external funding; provide academic advising; provide service to the institution and the profession. The successful candidates will have a demonstrated ability or potential to collaborate with researchers in the physical, life, environmental, and/or social sciences. Position starts August 2025.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Required: Ph.D. in statistics, biostatistics, data science, data analytics, or closely related field by date of appointment.
• Consideration may be given to candidates with research expertise complementing the expertise of department faculty. Candidates in all statistical specialties are invited to apply for this position.
